The Stoneridge project was a 900-square-foot custom-built detached garage. From the split roof to the stucco finish, the garage was designed to mimic the 1980s features of our client’s home.
The biggest challenge for this project was the steep slope. Even though our client had over 3 acres of land, only about 10% of the property was flat. Alpine Summit Homes built the garage off the side of the driveway over a hillside to preserve the existing flat areas. The concrete and steel beam foundation was built 15 feet below the garage floor. The garage’s interior does not contain any interior posts, allowing substantial room for cars and a workshop area.
